 She says, &#8220;I can&#8217;t walk straight, I feel sluggish, and I can&#8217;t stand up. &#8230;&#8230; I feel like I&#8217;m walking on a stopped escalator for a long time.&#8221;
 Ryoko Yonekura, 49, announced in 2007 that she suffers from an intractable disease, low CSF pressure syndrome. In June of this year, she appeared on &#8220;Asa Ichi&#8221; (NHK) and reflected on her battle with the disease. At one point she considered retiring, but after undergoing treatment, she reassured her many fans by saying, &#8220;I suddenly started to feel better around May of this year.

 This magazine saw Yonekura one evening at the end of July. Yonekura appeared in a white T-shirt and shorts from a building along a main street in Roppongi (Minato Ward). Her beautiful legs, of which she is very proud, look even thinner. With a big smile on her face, she waved to the staff and quickly got into her car with strong steps, carrying many bags, and left.
 The film version of Yonekura&#8217;s best-known work, &#8220;Doctor X,&#8221; is scheduled to be released in December, and she said she battled her illness while filming.

 Yonekura said, &#8220;She wanted people to see Doctor X on the big screen, but I knew it would be difficult because of her illness. Yonekura underwent surgery last August, but she had already started filming that fall. She was not feeling well on some days after the surgery, but she was acting as usual while trying not to make the people around her feel uncomfortable.
 A fan meeting for Doctor X will be held at the end of August. It is expected that Yonekura, who has recovered from her illness, will be seen in good health soon.
