Einstein Inada Involved in SNS Sexual Image Request and Legal Responsibility

A certain allegation has surfaced against a popular comedian.

It all started with a live video broadcast by the revealing YouTube star KOLECOLE. Naoki Inada, a member of the comedy duo “Einstein,” allegedly told a member of the public in a DM on Instagram that he had been working on a project for AbemaTV.

“Could you help us with an AbemaTV project?

He asked the general public via DM on Instagram, “Can you help us with an AbemaTV project?

It’s a little bit adult, and it’s about how many aggressive questions we can get our followers to answer via DM,” he allegedly explained.

The woman was on board and asked, “Would you be interested in helping us with the AbemaTV project?

When the woman got on board, he led her to a “back account” and had her send him sexually explicit images.

On July 29, Inada told X

I was involved in something very strange. I don’t remember anything at all, and I wouldn’t do something like that by telling a strange lie under the guise of a project.

He denied it completely.

To make it impossible for the victim woman to fabricate the story, Korekore sent out an X to show that it came from Inada’s official account by opening an Insta DM with a video instead of a screenshot. And if that wasn’t enough to discredit him, he also sent out a video of him going to meet the woman in person, opening the DM from his phone, and watching the exchange.

There are several victims, and I have also included a DM from “another woman”. This one is also blocked by Inada.

Korekoreh insisted. In addition, the “back account” to which he was leading the victim was also deleted as soon as the issue surfaced.

In general, is there any legal problem in sending sexual images on social networking sites? And if it is an unauthorized login, as Inada pointed out, what kind of crime would the person who did it be charged with? ……

Depending on the age of the woman (whether she is a minor or not) and the content of the exchange, there is a possibility that it could fall under the “Child Pornography Prohibition Law” or the “crime of coercion” under the Penal Code. Furthermore, depending on the woman’s age and other factors, there is a possibility of violating ordinances such as the Ordinance on the Healthy Development of Youth. In addition, if the woman files a civil lawsuit claiming that she has suffered emotional distress, it is possible that a claim for compensation may be approved, but it would be difficult to claim a large amount of money.

On the other hand, if there was unauthorized access, as Ms. Inada claims, the act of logging into another person’s account without permission may be a violation of the Unauthorized Computer Access Law. And depending on the content of the postings and other factors, she may be separately charged with defamation or obstruction of business under criminal law.

The age of the woman is unknown, but it seems that the person who sent the message also asked for her date of birth, so it is possible that he was taking measures to protect minors.

Abema TV often does “aggressive” projects that could not be handled on terrestrial TV, and because of this, the reality of the project is enhanced. However, the fact that Inada’s name was used and that he deceived women with a fictitious project seems to have angered those involved.
