R-Shitei’s Humble Life with Gravure Idol Amid News of Second Child

“When I mentioned I gained 1 kilogram, it was actually because I was pregnant with my second child.”

Natumi Eto (32), the wife of R-Shitei (32) from the hip-hop unit Creepy Nuts, announced her second pregnancy on the late-night show “Colorful Bouquet” on July 15. Eto, who gave birth to their first child at the end of 2023, made the announcement while discussing her post-pregnancy weight.

“It feels like my weight hasn’t returned to normal because I’m currently pregnant.”

She conveyed this and more.

“They met in the summer of 2020 at a drinking party through mutual friends. They both fell in love at first sight and quickly started dating. They began living together in a Tokyo high-rise in 2022 and got married in December of that year.”  (representative from the entertainment agency)

 In late October 2022, during a solo tour, R-Shitei was enjoying a brief break at a Starbucks in Tokyo. With his trademark long hair tied back, he walked out of the store holding a cup. As autumn deepened and people began to crave warmth, he was accompanied by a slender woman holding a Starbucks cup. This woman was Natsumi Eto, a former nursery teacher and gravure idol. A few days later, while walking his dog, R-Shitei was approached and asked about their relationship.

“Ah! Yes, yes.”

I’ve seen you walking your dog together and on dates. What made you choose her?

“Well, that’s something personal and only I need to understand. But where exactly were you watching from?”

Are you two dating with the intention of marriage?

“Hmm, well, yes.”

Smiling slightly in response, he held his Yorkshire Terrier, Connie, gave a nod, and left. Although known as a “final boss” in the rap world, his demeanor was completely non-aggressive and very gentlemanly. 

 

More than two years have passed since then, but according to local residents, the couple has a very good reputation.

 

“R-Shitei has a very calm demeanor and is incredibly humble and polite even when greeted. He’s always with his dog, and they seem like a genuinely close family. With the hit of ‘Blin Ban Ban Bon,’ the kids all know who R-Shitei is, but he’s so unassuming that people might not even notice him at first glance.” (local resident)

Creepy Nuts achieved an unprecedented 13 titles in the Billboard JAPAN 2024 first-half charts. On August 2, they are scheduled to hold their first outdoor solo concert, “S2O JAPAN 2024 × Creepy Nuts SPECIAL ONE MAN LIVE” in Odaiba, Tokyo. The event is being promoted as “the world’s most drenched music festival,” and R-Shitei has expressed his excitement:

“Our outdoor shows always guarantee we’ll be drenched in sweat, and this is a solo concert it’s going to be wild. Plus, there’s the great news of massive water sprinkling! This is a lifesaver.”

With this being their first solo concert after the announcement of their second child, it’s bound to be a huge success.
