 Takahashi, who was a finalist for the Miss Keio pageant, joined Sprout, the university student division of the entertainment agency St. Force, in 2006. After graduation, she also worked for Accenture, a foreign-affiliated consulting firm.

 Kawashima, who studied dance and acting from an early age, joined Johnny&#8217;s (now SMILE-UP.) in 2007. In July 2012, he was selected as a founding member of Travis Japan. The group has been pushing for an overseas orientation in the forefront, studying in the U.S. from March &#8217;22 and making their world debut with a local record company in October of the same year. Kawashima, the oldest member of the group, is popular in the group for her strong character.

 They met at a birthday party for Kaito Miyachika (26), a member of Travis Japan, in 2006. Mari was invited to the birthday party by a mutual acquaintance, and that is where she hit it off with Ryoeru.
