The latest TV Asahi special drama series “Hisshikatsu Shigotojin” starring Noriyuki Higashiyama (57) will be broadcast on December 29, and Nao Matsushita (38) will appear as a new worker.

The film is the latest in the popular period drama series starring Higashiyama, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary. Matsushita plays Natsume (Natsume), a hairdresser who appears to the workers who lost Jinhachiro (Kenichi Endo), a kawaraya (roof tile store), in the previous film. This is the first time in 16 years since Eimi Wakui (53) and Asami Mizukawa (40) in 2007 that female workmen have been born.

Matsushita has already made her presence felt in the role of Iiji Tanuma in “O-oku Season 2: Medical Care,” which aired on NHK in October. Although he has experience in period dramas, this was his first attempt at sword fighting and stand-up, and he commented, “I was surprised at how much more difficult it was than I had imagined, with movements and postures I don’t usually do, but I tried my best to keep up with the filming.

Mr. Higashiyama said, “The broadcast of ‘Worker’ will be my last job as a TV personality. Since he will retire and concentrate on being the president of “SMILE-UP. (former Johnny’s)” from next year, this film has attracted a lot of attention.

Higashiyama took over the lead role of “Worker” from the late Makoto Fujita in 2007. For that reason, some are concerned that his retirement may bring the series to an end. However, as a newcomer to the series, Matsushita must have been very enthusiastic about the work,” said a TV Asahi source.

Matsushita originally made her modeling debut in 2000 when she won the grand prize in a contest sponsored by a modeling agency while still in high school. After graduating from high school, she moved to Tokyo and enrolled in the Tokyo College of Music, majoring in piano. While still a student at the university, she made her debut as an actress in the Nippon Television series “Waltz of the Puppy” in 2004, carrying the title of “active music student,” an unusual title at the time. She drew attention for her performance on the piano without an understudy.

While working as an actress, she also made her CD debut in 2006 as a composer and pianist, followed by her debut as a singer. She has successfully juggled the “four styles” of acting, singing, pianism, and composing. Her father is a well-known figure in the business world. Her father is a well-known figure in the business world, and she is tall and has a perfect family background, personality, and character, all of which are rare in the entertainment industry.

In 2006, she and her manager became independent from a major entertainment agency, but she continued on her “road to success. In the first half of 2010, she starred in NHK’s TV series “Gegege no Nyobo” (Gegege’s Wife), which was her big breakthrough, and she was also chosen to host the 61st NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen (Red and White Singing Contest) in the same year. The following year, in ’11, she also played her first starring role in a commercial drama series in Fuji Television’s drama “CONTROL – Criminal Psychological Investigation. With no scandals, she was inundated with commercials for blue-chip companies, and continued to star in leading roles.

She starred in “A Day Called Sokai-san” (Fuji, 2000), “Dear Sister” (Fuji, 2002), and “Hayako Sensei, Are You Sure You Want to Get Married? (Fuji, 2004), and “Alive: An Oncologist’s Chart” (Fuji, 2008). It seems that he was quite useful at Fuji Television. However, her acting was said to be one-note, and the ratings for her leading roles were always sluggish, resulting in a series of disastrous failures.

In the past few years, Matsushita has been appearing more and more as a by-play artist. However, this does not mean that she is seen less frequently on TV. From April of this year, she has been sub-hosting TV Asahi’s long-running travel program “Asa! Travel Salad,” a long-running travel program on Television Asahi, and has become known to a wider range of viewers.

In the July season of the NTV drama “CODE: The Price of Wish,” she took on the action role of a former police officer who becomes a skilled SP.

She has been playing a more active role in the drama series “CODE: The Price of Wishes,” a NTV drama in the July season. In “CONTROL,” she played the role of a detective, but in interviews and other interviews, she herself has professed that she has poor motor skills and is not good at sports in general.

However, in “CODE,” she was able to perform the actions well and was into the role. He is large and has long arms and legs, so he looks good in action scenes. If she gets into her role in “Worker,” she may be able to break new ground in the action genre and return to the lead role.

Matsushita seems to have steadily “evolved” as an actress.
