Why “Snow Man’s” next album is sure to be a “million-seller” in spite of the “CD sales era
Snow Man’s CDs are already a bonanza, but the perk effect could boost sales even more.
The last single “Dangerholic” (released in September this year) sold 869,000 copies in its first week (according to Oricon). Also, “Tapestry / W,” released in March, had cumulative sales reach 1 million copies and reached the million mark in September. With the benefits of the calendar, Snow Man fans are saying, “Let’s go for the first-week million! Let’s do our best so that we can give away a million in the first week.
This year, “Johnny’s Countdown” (Cowcon), a New Year’s Eve live concert featuring all the old Johnny’s idols, was also cancelled. This had been an annual event held at Tokyo Dome and broadcast live on Fuji Television, so it was familiar to non-fans. This year, however, the company had just entered a new structure and probably could not afford to hold a “Cowcon.
On the other hand, Snow Man was quick to announce that they would be broadcasting live on YouTube on New Year’s Eve, reporting on November 11 via the group’s X and other media that “Snow Man Special Live – Enjoy New Year’s Eve with Everyone! ~” was reported to have been decided. The live delivery will be in two parts: a “live part” starting at 8:30 p.m. on December 31, followed by a “countdown talk corner” after a short break.
The good news continues, and Snow Man fans are saying, “Snow Man is going to be a great group,
Snow Man will be broadcasting live on YouTube during the year-end and New Year’s holidays, and a calendar will be included as a bonus with their CDs. They are really too generous!
They’re too kind to give away a calendar following a live broadcast on YouTube. ……
I can’t thank Snow Man and the staff enough for the live streaming on YouTube and the calendar.
The response was one after another of joy.
The day when Snow Man is recognized as a “national idol group” may not be far off.
