Komatsu Suspect Continues to Beat Live-in Woman

A man was arrested again for allegedly beating a live-in girlfriend for 20 minutes.

On December 7, the Kashiwa Police Station of the Chiba Prefectural Police re-arrested Kaito Komatsu, 22, an unemployed man, on suspicion of inflicting injury or death.

The suspect is suspected of hitting Ms. A, a woman in her 20s who lived with him, in the back with a blunt object, causing her death at an apartment in Kashiwa City in September of this year. Upon investigation, Komatsu denied the crime, saying, ‘The contents of the arrest warrant are too different from the facts.

FRIDAY Digital” reported in detail on the incident Komatsu allegedly committed in an article distributed on September 26. We would like to reproduce the article and look back on the detailed circumstances and the male-female problems in the dating relationship (some corrections have been made).

‘My lips are white.’

When the man came out of the police station, he glared at the photographers and reporters with challenging eyes. Komatsu, who has tattoos on his neck, arms, and other parts of his body, was arrested on suspicion of assault by the Chiba Prefectural Police’s Kashiwa Police Station on September 24.

A 24-year-old woman was lying on the ground, unconscious. Her lips are white.

Komatsu called 119 at around 4:30 p.m. on September 23, the day before his arrest. Firefighters and police officers rushed to the apartment in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, and found young Ms. A collapsed in the living room. They immediately rushed him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 7:30 p.m. on the same day.

According to the police, Komatsu beat Ms. A for about 20 minutes starting around midnight on September 10, and Ms. A had multiple bruises on her body that appeared to have been caused by the beating.

The suspect admitted to hitting Ms. A. The report was made on the 23rd, which means that he left Ms. A with serious injuries for almost two weeks. The police performed an autopsy on Mr. A’s body and were investigating the cause of death and Komatsu’s motive for beating him.

There is an increasing number of problems between men and women who appear to have been in a relationship. Most of the victims are women. The following is a list of major incidents that were uncovered this year (ages at the time).

In January, a former boxer was arrested on suspicion of assault. On Christmas night of the previous year, he got into an argument with a woman in her 20s with whom he had been dating on the street and kicked her in the face. The woman suffered a fracture of the inner wall of her right orbit and other serious injuries, including a month’s total recovery.

In January, a man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of murder. He was resentful that a woman he was dating had ended their relationship. He ambushed a woman near her place of work and stabbed her to death with a knife.

In June, a man in his 20s turned himself in to the police and was arrested on suspicion of murder. He ambushed a female university student who refused to continue a relationship with him in front of her apartment, and stabbed her multiple times to death with a kitchen knife he was carrying. He often threatened to kill her and assaulted her, saying, “If you break up with me, I will kill you.

In several cases, the police intervened in advance and held discussions with the victims. In some cases, the police intervened in advance and held discussions with the perpetrators, instructing them not to approach the women any further. In many cases, however, the perpetrators may show remorse and say, ‘I won’t go near her anymore,’ but in many cases, they may not really be convinced. The end result can be disastrous. …… In the future, we may need to consider how the authorities should deal with problems between men and women.

It is too late to do anything after a human life is lost. Perhaps we need to change our attitude of non-intervention because it is a private matter, and take action with enforcement power.
