A little before midnight on November 19, Mr. and Mrs. M’s house was ablaze, and the fire quickly spread to the entire house in about 15 minutes.

Around midnight on November 19, I noticed that Mr. M’s house was on fire. After about 30 minutes, his wife and her husband came back from work in their car and found their two children still inside. The wife was already half out of her mind. The two bodies were taken out one by one from around 7:00 the next morning, but the police told me, ‘The damage is too severe, so you shouldn’t look at them.

So said a local resident of Inami Town, Kako County, Hyogo Prefecture. Mr. and Mrs. M, their two children, a boy in the sixth grade and a girl in the first grade, and their “uncle” Mr. T, the wife’s brother, lived in the house. The bodies found were believed to be the two brothers. It is known that the fire was caused by arson, and that Mr. T had left the house just before the fire broke out. A local resident continues, “Mr. T is in his fifties.

He is in his early fifties. He was a small man, 165cm tall, and played softball in school. After graduating from junior high school, he started working at a local towel and hand towel cleaning company called K. About 10 years ago, he started working for a company in Osaka and came back to his hometown about two years ago. Since then, she has been living with her sisters. Recently, I heard that Mr. T had been telling his younger sister that he didn’t want to work anymore, that he was going to sell the house, and that he wanted to receive welfare benefits by giving away all his property.

There is no doubt that this uncle knows all about the situation. A reporter from a national newspaper said.

The prefectural police are investigating the possibility that the uncle set the fire due to a family dispute, and although he was apprehended on November 24, it is unclear how much will be revealed about his motives.

Will the darkness of the incident be revealed?

Mr. and Mrs. M’s house, which burned down. At first it was thought to be a fire, but traces of oil-like substance were found at the scene.
