Mino responded to the interview. She had a mysterious expression on her face as she spoke of her feelings toward the program and her apologies. ……

What did “FRIDAY” report 10, 20, and 30 years ago? In this edition of “Playback Friday,” we take a look back at the topics that were hot at the time. This time, we present “Mino Monta’s Drunkenly Unlimited Saying! from the November 15, 2001 issue.

Following the arrest of his second son for theft in September, Mino Monta (69 at the time) was a guest on the news programs “Asa Zubatto! and Saturday Zubatto (both on TBS), but on October 25, it was announced that he would officially leave the programs. On the following day, October 26, Mino held a press conference in front of more than 200 reporters. and sometimes with tears in her eyes, apologized to her second son. Four hours after the press conference, this magazine directly interviewed Mino when she returned home to her house in Kamakura.

Playback! After bowing deeply… the usual “Mino theater

Around 9:30 p.m. on the same day, Mino got out of a luxury car with a driver in front of her mansion in Kamakura, and a smile appeared on her face.

─ ─ Good evening. This is Friday!

What’s wrong?”

Mino stops to answer a reporter’s question.

Mino stops and answers the reporter’s questions.

I’m relieved!

Mino’s usual crisp, clear, “Mino’s” speech.

─ I was surprised by your “BAKAYARO” comment.

He said, “It’s stupid of him to do such a thing at his age. You have to punish him with moxa for about six months. The only thing he had to say was, “Bakayaro! But as I’ve said many times before, no matter what kind of “idiot son” he is, he is still responsible for his father’s actions. Thank you very much for your trouble.

Mino wrinkled his brow and bowed deeply. But this is where the “Mino Theater” begins.

She joked, “I ‘m really glad I wasn’t exercising naked on the balcony when I was photographed,” about the aerial photo of Mino’s mansion that was published in the previous issue of this magazine, and she also commented on Tamori’s departure from “Laugh It Up! When asked if he was surprised that Tamori was leaving the show, he seemed unconcerned when asked to fill in. She did not look displeased by the repeated flashes, and continued to speak with great expression. He seemed to have had a drink somewhere after the press conference. He also had this to say about his favorite place, Ginza.

To tell you the truth. (I wonder when I’m going to go back (to Ginza). Come to think of it, when was the last time I was photographed by Friday?

At the end of the previous year, this magazine had directly asked about Mino’s “hotel takeaway.

Mino’s “hotel take-away” at the end of the previous year. Oh, but that actress who was in Friday this week…that’s right, Norika Fujiwara! I’m a fan. I want to have dinner with her. Are you really getting married? She’s younger than you, right? What does she do for a living?”

Whether her journalistic spirit was ignited or she was just being dirty, she asked questions one after another. At the end, she took a bottle of sake out of the trunk of her luxury car and handed it to the interviewers, then said, “Thanks. Don’t catch a cold.

From 2005 to 2007, Mino appeared in two weekly TV programs, “Omoikkiri TV” (Nippon Television Network Corporation) and “Asa Zubatto! She was at the height of her career, setting a Guinness record for hours of live TV appearances in a single week.

However, around 2010, he began to be bashed by some and treated as an “old man,” and at the end of August of that year, allegations of “sexual harassment” surfaced that he had tried to touch a female announcer’s buttocks during a program and had his hand removed. Mino called it a “summer vacation. Mino took a one-week break from the program on September 9, calling it a “summer vacation,” but the incident involving his second son occurred at precisely the right time.

Although the second son’s case was eventually dropped, Mino’s TV appearances since then have been drastically reduced to only a few regular appearances on such programs as “Himitsu no Kenmin Show” (Nippon Television Network Corporation). After she left the show in 2008, her appearances became even less frequent.

At the time, Mino seemed to be in high spirits and did not seem to mind the adverse publicity, but it seems that she was never able to regain the vigor of her heyday.

The interview went generally like this. He talked with a flirtatious spirit. As he said, perhaps the apology press conference had lifted some weight off his shoulders.
At the end of the interview, he took out a bottle of sake from the trunk of his car and gave it to the reporters and cameramen.
