Masaki Okada, Momori Matsuzaka, Taiga Nakano, Sakura Ando, Haruka Kiminami… all successful actors gathered at the launch of Kudokan’s film!
They are truly in harmony.
On Friday, October 13, Kankuro Kudo (53) gave a speech at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya for “Yutori desuka nanika international,” the sequel to the popular TV drama series he wrote. Despite the ominous date, the event proceeded in a friendly mood from start to finish. The performers left the venue after 20:00.
About an hour later, Masaki Okada (34), who stars in the film, emerged from a Chinese restaurant about a 10-minute drive from the venue. It was a high-class restaurant, with a minimum spend of 10,000 yen per customer and some courses costing 40,000 yen or more. His co-star, Sakura Ando (37), appeared from a black van parked in front of Okada, and Okada escorted her into the restaurant.
Okada and Ando, along with cast members Tori Matsuzaka (35), Taiga Nakano (30), Haruka Kiminami (38), and Mitsuo Yoshihara (45), and director Nobuo Mizuta (65), apparently had dinner together. They are usually good friends,” said a source in the entertainment industry.
Although main cast member Yuya Yagira (33) was not present, the party seemed to be a big success. Okada and the others left the restaurant at 23:00, about an hour past closing time.
Kiminami has been selected for the lead role in NTV’s new Sunday drama “Sexy Tanaka-san,” and Nakano is also in demand, starring in “Hatsukoi no Devil” (Nippon TV) and “Japanese Style” (TV Asahi). The reason behind their increased recognition and popularity since the previous film was aired six years ago seems to be the relationship of trust they have built on the set.
