Nana Seino’s presence even on location for a popular drama with a smile on her face
All-out coverage of the entertainment special wide "Onna-tachi on the edge of success".
Every time we took a break, five female staff members took care of our physical condition and provided support.
It was early October when the weather turned completely cold. In early October, it was completely cold, and the drama “I’ve Just Stamped My Seal on a Marriage Certificate” (TBS) was being filmed in a park in Katsushika Ward. The leading role is played by Nana Seino (27), who announced her first pregnancy on the 23rd of last month.
In order to care for her, five female staff members rushed to support her every time there was a break. Kiyono, however, didn’t seem to mind such a tense atmosphere, as she found the autumn leaves in the park and chatted with the staff. She finished the photo shoot with a smile on her face.
Kiyono is now six months pregnant and is said to be in her stable phase. It is a rare case for a pregnant woman to be forced to go on location, but it seems that Kiyono had a strong determination behind her decision. A source at a TV station told us.
“In fact, TBS was notified of the pregnancy before the first episode was shot. Naturally, the station considered the possibility of her leaving the show. However, it was decided that Ms. Seino would appear on the show because the majority of the location shooting period coincided with her stable period, and more importantly, because she strongly desired to be on the show.
Originally, Ms. Seino was in demand for movies and dramas as “the best young actress in Japan at action. However, when she became pregnant and gave birth, she could not do any strenuous exercise for a while. I think she is aware of this and is currently looking for other ways to exercise. In fact, this drama is a comical love story. Moreover, this is the time slot that has produced many TBS hits such as “Runaway Shame,” so she is probably hoping to get results here.
Hanoshi” got off to a good start with a 9.4% viewer rating for the first episode aired on October 19. The second episode, in which there were concerns about the impact of the pregnancy announcement, rose to 9.9%, a good rating that was close to double digits. What is the reputation of this work? Professor Takahiko Kageyama of the Department of Media Creation at Doshisha Women’s University, who has worked as a producer for a TV station in Osaka for many years, tells us.
Professor Takahiko Kageyama of the Department of Media Creation at Doshisha Women’s University, who has worked as a TV producer in Osaka for many years, said, “It is a standard pattern for dramas that viewer ratings drop after the second episode. However, this drama’s numbers went up in the second episode. It may be an exaggeration to say that it surpasses “Runaway Shame,” but expectations are rising. The reason for this is of course Ms. Seino. She plays the character of the main character, a sloppy woman, more than adequately. I think she is expanding her range as an actress as she takes on different roles.
Blessed with a new family, Seino continues to grow in her work as well. The smile on her face while on location may have been a testament to her fulfilling state of mind.
