She says, “I went to junior high and high school at an all-girls school in the prefecture, and my parents were very strict. When I entered university, my curfew was 10 pm. While everyone around me was having fun and falling in love, I went home alone. I had no friends and never went to a party. That environment was so painful that I took a leave of absence from university and ran away from Japan, like running away from home.”

Ms. Rey first encountered the world of adult films in Germany, where she studied abroad in 2017.

I started studying English and German all over again, and at first I worked at a restaurant to make ends meet, but that wasn’t enough, so I decided to perform at “___”. I make a gazillion dollars and use that money to travel the world. I am like a tuna, I can’t sit still. I live in the Netherlands now, but last year I stayed in Jamaica, Serbia, and Romania. This year I went to Brazil. I force myself to be stimulated in new places. Then, when I get the itch, I recruit a crew or something and we shoot.”

She also cherishes her time alone.

I love to read. I especially love the beautiful Japanese language in Yukio Mishima’s works. In music, I was also influenced by Momoe Yamaguchi. In particular, I listen to works with lyrics by Yoyoko Agi. What they both have in common is that they have an appealing darkness and non-directive expression.
That’s why I really don’t like it when people say things like ‘let’s fuck’ when we have sex. I think, “Make me wet with more poetic phrases! (laughs).”

In Japan, she never misses a professional wrestling match.

“I love the nakedness of the wrestlers, the way they clash and exchange life with each other!　When I see a death match, I think, ‘I want to be shivved by a fluorescent light and get bloodied by shrapnel.
