Shinsuke Suzuki is selected as the 7th sub-MC of “M-Station”! TV Asahi’s Shinsuka Suzuki is expected to be “post-Ayaka Hironaka” for a surprising reason.
TV Asahi’s summer event “Summer Station” opened its first day on July 22. Around 11:00 a.m. on that day, Shinya Suzuki, 23, an analyst in her second year with the company, was rehearsing for an opening session at Teresa Hiroba.
Suzuki is a talented young woman who graduated from the Faculty of Letters at Keio University.’ She joined TV Asahi in April 2010 as the only female announcer in the same year. In October of the same year, she was assigned as a sub-MC for the flagship program “Music Station.
M-Station” is a gateway to success for female TV Asahi announcers, and since the MCs are on the air for a long time, it is a good opportunity for them to be remembered by the viewers. Announcers Yue Takeuchi and Ayaka Hironaka, who have served as sub-MCs, have grown into popular announcers as a result of the program.
Suzuki has a lot of guts, and her strength is that she can talk with big-name artists such as Toshl (57) and Hiromi Go (67) without being intimidated. On one occasion, she was asked by Tamori-san (77) how to relieve tension, to which she unexpectedly replied, “It’s better to be (nervous). However, Ana Suzuki responded in a flexible manner, “I’m going to be stiff! ‘ (TV station insider).
Some are even calling Suzuki a “post-Hironaka” candidate.
TV Asahi’s absolute ace, Ayaka Hironaka, is now 32 years old and announced in May that she is pregnant with her first child. The station would like to nurture talented female announcers like Hironaka who can work on variety shows as soon as possible. Suzuki, with her cute little animal-like looks and courage, is the best candidate for the “post-Hironaka” position.
TV Asahi’s long-awaited big rookie!
