<p>In the late afternoon of October, a beautiful woman with a short cut descended on the plaza in front of Telecom Center Station (Koto-ku, Tokyo) on the Yurikamome Line. It was actress Kana Kurashina, 34.</p>
<p> She is currently a regular on the SDGs information program &#8220;Sustaina! (Fuji Television Network), a program that introduces information on SDGs. However, on this particular day, she seemed to be on location for a drama. She was filming a scene where she and her co-star are running with smiles on their faces.</p>

<p><strong> Kurashina was filming a drama series that will start airing next April. Kurashina is scheduled to appear in the stage play &#8220;The Spider&#8217;s Web Castle&#8221; from February to March next year, so they are filming ahead of schedule.</strong></p>

<p> Kurashina is also highly acclaimed for her stage performances, having won the Best Actress Award at the Yomiuri Drama Awards. Spider&#8217;s Castle&#8221; is a stage adaptation of Akira Kurosawa&#8217;s masterpiece film. Kurashina is said to be very enthusiastic about her role as the wife of the main character, who was once played by the famous actress Isuzu Yamada.</p>
<p> This year, Kurashina also passed the Meidori (master) examination for the Bando School of Japanese dance, a specialty of hers. Next year will be a year in which she will show her dignity as an actress.</p>
