Kana Kurashina makes a mad dash at Telecom Center Station! Why?

In the late afternoon of October, a beautiful woman with a short cut descended on the plaza in front of Telecom Center Station (Koto-ku, Tokyo) on the Yurikamome Line. It was actress Kana Kurashina, 34.

She is currently a regular on the SDGs information program “Sustaina! (Fuji Television Network), a program that introduces information on SDGs. However, on this particular day, she seemed to be on location for a drama. She was filming a scene where she and her co-star are running with smiles on their faces.

Kurashina was filming a drama series that will start airing next April. Kurashina is scheduled to appear in the stage play “The Spider’s Web Castle” from February to March next year, so they are filming ahead of schedule.

Kurashina is also highly acclaimed for her stage performances, having won the Best Actress Award at the Yomiuri Drama Awards. Spider’s Castle” is a stage adaptation of Akira Kurosawa’s masterpiece film. Kurashina is said to be very enthusiastic about her role as the wife of the main character, who was once played by the famous actress Isuzu Yamada.

This year, Kurashina also passed the Meidori (master) examination for the Bando School of Japanese dance, a specialty of hers. Next year will be a year in which she will show her dignity as an actress.
