Japan&#8217;s first car festival drew a large and enthusiastic crowd.
Japan&#8217;s first car festival &#8220;FUELFEST&#8221; was held at Fuji Speedway on August 11. Rare supercars and rare tuning cars from all over the world gathered at the event, and cars that were actually used in the movie &#8220;Wild Speed&#8221; were also on display. A parade run with 1,000 participating cars, drag races, and various other events were held, attracting more than 30,000 spectators.  Tomoya Ichiraku, CEO of Kamiwaza Japan, the organizer of the event, said, &#8220;We started planning this event around October last year, and it was not officially decided until January this year. At first, we thought, &#8216;If we can get 10,000 people to participate, that would be good,&#8217; and that&#8217;s how we started. In early June, when the event was announced in the media, the number of applications for participation increased rapidly. In the end, the number of participants exceeded 30,000, and a total of 33,000 people, including staff and exhibitors, came to the event. The number of vehicles exhibited was also very large, about 2,200.&#8221;
