Yukina Kinoshita has made a big splash by confessing her own developmental disorder on her YouTube channel.

Kinoshita went to a hospital called “Brain Clinic,” which conducts brain tests, and examined her own brain frequency. The results showed that her frontal lobe was not working. She said she had ADHD, a developmental disorder.

She said, “I had been living without knowing it, so I thought this was her personality. (I forget (often). I don’t have my wallet, I don’t have my cell phone. But because of my profession, I didn’t have to manage my own schedule or anything, so I didn’t have any difficulty living.”

In a way, she’s showing her aptitude as a uber-journalist.

On the other hand, she also recalled, “In my previous marriage, I used to irritate (her husband).

She then called on viewers to “have a sense of being there for (ADHD), and to have a little bit of knowledge about what goes on in the brain of a person with ADHD before going out with them.

Fans responded to this post by appreciating Kinoshita’s confession, saying, “I was also suffering from ADHD, so I’m glad Yukina-chan made it public.

On the other hand, there were also reactions such as, “It looks like she is using ADHD as an excuse. A 34-year-old male office worker in Tokyo, who himself suffers from ADHD, said, “In the first place, developmental disorders vary in degree from person to person. It is too crude to call for a general ‘understanding’ of this, and if you call for such a thing before you have a good understanding of it, you will probably end up alienated from the public.”

It seems that many people felt uncomfortable with Kinoshita’s easy posting because it is something that many people suffer from.

She said, “I myself often struggle with forgetfulness and relationships. However, I always live my life while taking measures such as ‘What shape of wallet should I buy and where should I usually put it so that I don’t lose it? I wonder if that is what it means to face them. However, Kinoshita seems to be making excuses for her ‘bad self,’ and I felt a little annoyed.”

Kinoshita, born in Tokyo in 1987 and nicknamed “Yukkina,” was scouted in Shibuya in 2006 and entered the entertainment industry. Her unusual answers on a quiz show became the talk of the town, and she got her break, but now she is once again attracting attention for her comments on YouTube. If she is truly going to face himself, she should take it seriously. By showing this attitude, rather than sending out half-hearted messages, I believe that the number of people who understand will gradually increase.
