Kuji was born in Iwate Prefecture in 1994. After graduating from Aoyama Gakuin University, she joined Fuji Television in 2017, where she made her mark in her first year, taking charge of the signature program &#8220;Kuji Pan.&#8221; From April 2019, she served as the main anchor on &#8220;Mezamashi Saturday.&#8221; However, after only five years, she gave up her career as an announcer and became a freelancer in May 2022.
Kuji worked as a model before joining Fuji. While freelance announcers are the standard after station announcers leave their jobs, Kuji&#8217;s activities do not seem to be limited to freelance announcing. Her activities as a model and TV personality are also highly anticipated. She also has 460,000 followers on Instagram and is expected to be active as an influencer.

Kuji also announced her marriage to Yuta Watanabe of the NBA&#8217;s Toronto Raptors. In her wedding report post, she also showed a photo of the two of them huddled together in the middle of a large basketball court together. Comments flooded in congratulating the happy couple. After that, the couple continued to post photos of their life in the U.S., leading to speculation that they had already moved to the U.S. The other day, however, she reported her return to Japan.
Kuji recently reported that he had a recording session at a TV station that is not Fuji Television, his old home.
