 A shocking revelation was made during the trial of the designated dangerous gang Kudo-kai (Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture).

 The president of the Kudo-kai, Satoru Nomura, 75, who is accused of murder and other crimes in four cases involving attacks on civilians, and the number two and chairman, Fumio Taue, 66, have dismissed all of their lawyers. In August 2009, the Fukuoka District Court sentenced Nomura to death and Tague to life imprisonment after finding that he &#8220;participated as a ringleader.
 Nomura will immediately appeal to the Fukuoka High Court against the death sentence. The date of the appeal hearing has not yet been set, but the deadline for the Nomura defendants to submit a notice of appeal was approaching in late July of this year.
