Miki Nakatani & Hiroyuki Ikeuchi: Powerful Portrayal Shown on Location in Suspense Drama

It was a morning in Yokohama City when I encountered the film crew in front of a subway station. At the foot of a pedestrian bridge, actress Miki Nakatani, 46, in a navy suit, and Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, 45, in a gray suit, wore grim expressions on their faces.
They were filming a crime suspense drama to be broadcast on WOWOW. It is a live-action adaptation of a popular comic book, and Nakatani plays the main character, a female detective who confronts a criminal.
Was this a scene during an investigation? As extras playing passersby came and went, Nakatani and Ikeuchi followed the flow of people with sharp eyes and were discussing something.
When the cut was called and a staff member came to talk to them under a parasol, the two smiled a little, but otherwise they were always serious. There was a tense atmosphere on the set from start to finish.
The two actors, veterans and talented actors in their own right, gave one convincing performance after another. The drama is sure to keep the viewers on the edge of their seats.
