Suzu Hirose: Unintentionally smiling at a surprise on her birthday
The “youngest son of the nation” appeared at a movie event.
A talk event for the movie “Wandering Moon” was held in Tokyo on March 15. Toward the end of the event, director Lee Sang-il (48) handed Suzu Hirose (24) a bouquet of flowers as a surprise birthday gift.
I’m going to do my best even though I’m 24 years old,” she said.
Hirose has known director Lee since she was 16 years old, and because he has watched her grow up, she says she was able to put even more effort into filming.
Hirose is currently filming a new movie. She is also busy as muse for Shiseido products and modeling.
For three months starting at the end of July, Hirose will be appearing in a new play, “The Soul of a Woman,” for which she won the Kinokuniya Theatre Award. She will once again take on the challenge of “Q” for NODA・MAP. This production will also be staged in London and Taipei, so I look forward to seeing her reputation abroad,” said Masako Hasegawa, an entertainment reporter.
Until now, Hirose has been associated with the role of the youngest child in the movie “Umimachi diary. In fact, she is the youngest in her personal life as well. The other day, her older sister Alice Hirose (27) tweeted on Suzu’s birthday celebration, “The youngest child in our family and the youngest child of the nation, too much of a youngest child temperament sometimes makes me angry, but too cute, SUTT-chan. She has become an ambassador for Louis Vuitton and wears more adult-like outfits, but it seems that her “youngest child” attitude is still alive and well.
