K-1 Girls Ueunten Misato: “I Want to be a Goddess of Victory Like My Name!

K-1 GIRLS, the round girl unit that adds color to the popular martial arts event “K-1,” has been announced for another year. The K-1 GIRLS had previously consisted of six members, but this year, for the first time, eight members have been selected for the event, which is expected to bring even more excitement to the event.

In this daily update, we will introduce each member’s enthusiasm for their debut at “K-1 WORLD GP 2022 JAPAN~RING OF VENUS~” to be held on June 25 (Sat.) at Yoyogi National Gymnasium 2nd Gymnasium!

Misato Ueunten: “I want to be a goddess of victory like my family name!”

Some of them are fresh, some are mature, and some are more mature. They have a lot of individuality, and I’m looking forward to the new eight-member lineup.

Among them, I can’t say it myself, but in the waiting room, they tell me I’m interesting, so I guess make K-1 Girls group extra brighter, in charge of talking, right? (laugh) There are many girls who have just started performing or are new to round girls, so I hope to use my experience from two years ago as a round girl in another organization to share information about round girl moves and martial arts. There is a captain and a vice-captain, but I hope to be able to stand behind the scenes and pull them along.

My surname is unusual, but fans sometimes say to me, “It’s like ‘luck rises to the heavens,’ so I’m feeling lucky. So I will do my best to be a goddess of victory!”

Actually, I have never done a swimsuit gravure before, so this interview with FRIDAY was unexpectedly the first time I was banned! (laugh) I didn’t know what kind of expression to make, and I was nervous, so I think I became a little stiff.
