On May 20, celebrities and the media were in an uproar when a topless woman interrupted the red carpet at the &#8220;Cannes International Film Festival.

This year&#8217;s Cannes Film Festival was a hot topic in Japan as well, with Korean actor Song Gang-ho (55) winning the Best Actor Award for his role in Hirokazu Kore-eda&#8217;s &#8220;Baby Broker. On the other hand, it was also noted that various &#8220;protests&#8221; unfolded around the world. The woman at the beginning of the film had her upper body painted in Ukrainian colors and condemned the current situation of sexual violence by Russian soldiers, which is believed to have been caused by the invasion of Ukraine (see photo below).
 On the 22nd, the activist group &#8220;Les Corses&#8221; held a demonstration on the stairs with a banner, burning black smoke bombs, and raising their fists in the air.
