<h3>Former popular idol and Oscar-winning actress</h3>
<p>Around noon on May 8, a large film crew was gathered in front of a coffee shop in Asakusa&#8217;s shopping district. Emerging from inside the store were actresses Atsuko Maeda (30) and Toruko Miura (25). They appeared to be filming a movie.</p>

<p>It seems that they were filming a scene in which Miura waves her hand in front of the store, and Maeda looks back at her repeatedly as she walks away. Although a staff member holding a red light was standing right next to Maeda, the filming proceeded in a relaxed atmosphere. After finishing the scene in front of the store at take 3, the location was moved back to the store, and filming continued until nightfall.</p>
<p>Maeda, the first center of &#8220;AKB48,&#8221; has stepped up to a movie actress, and Miura, who has risen to an Oscar-winning actress with the movie &#8220;Drive My Car,&#8221; is particularly strong in the role of Miura. Miura, in particular, has been on a roll, appearing in NHK&#8217;s morning drama &#8220;Come Come Everybody&#8221; and the TV drama &#8220;The 13 Children of Kamakura&#8221; in rapid succession, and has emerged as one of the most promising young actresses in the acting field.</p>

<p>Although the two actresses have had different careers, the atmosphere on set is friendly from start to finish, and they seem to be in perfect synch with each other. Media culture critic Hiroyoshi Usui said, &#8220;Ms. Miura is a very talented actress.</p>
<p><strong> Ms. Miura&#8217;s role in &#8220;Drive My Car&#8221; is a perfect example of this. This is not only due to the role, but also to her innate nature as an actress. So even though she is unobtrusive, she is somehow interesting. I am looking forward to seeing the &#8220;chemical reaction&#8221; when she and Maeda-san, who is a completely different type of actress, really clash with each other.</strong></p>
