After their appearance on the program, Ijichi (right) and Ozawa (left) left the station together with their co-star Okura (middle).

Hiroki Ijichi (37) and Shinichiro Ozawa (33) of the comedy duo “Pistachio” announced that they will break up at the end of May. It was late at night in mid-May when the two were seen visiting the station to appear on a radio program.

The day before this, Ijichi had tweeted on Twitter, .

The guest that day was Okura Shimon (29), a TV personality with whom Ijichi has a close personal relationship. Since it was the duo’s last radio appearance together, one would have thought that they would be somber after the show, but when they came out of the station after the broadcast, there was a smile in their eyes.

After the breakup of the duo, Ijichi will continue his activities as a pin comedian, while Ozawa will retire and pursue a certification in child welfare. Ijichi recently announced his marriage said, ‘This duo will never break up.”

It is a pity that we will not be able to see their comic performances anymore, but we would like to support them as they embark on a new life together.
