<p>＜Emma Ebihara and Tamako Hina (both pseudonyms) are popular gravure models who entered the entertainment industry when they were scouted on the street, and have been appearing in the gravure pages of major magazines since their mid-teens, and have been active as Miss Contest finalists and image girls. These two women, who are well versed in the industry, will talk about the truth of the gravure world, which is rife with evil spirits of the mountains and rivers, in a special program. <p>Emma: What I don&#8217;t like is that recently, without my knowledge, photo books that I published in the past are being made into e-books. Have you ever been surprised when you see it on Twitter?</p>
<p>Tamako: I guess the office must have a contract with the publisher, but in many cases, the person in question hasn&#8217;t heard anything about it, right?　Maybe it&#8217;s a contract that says &#8220;e-books are OK&#8221; when you publish a paper photo book.</p>
<p>Emma: Isn&#8217;t it bad that they&#8217;re being sold on Kindle without your knowledge?　When did you get this face?&#8221; I thought.</p>
<p>Tamako: I don&#8217;t think the office even knows about it (laughs).</p>

<p>Emma: Speaking of things I &#8220;didn&#8217;t know,&#8221; balance balls. It&#8217;s a common occurrence in this industry that there are so many balance-ball-related shoots. When a photographer shoots a woman straddling a balance ball and then pulls her up from below, it looks like she is in a cowgirl position. When you noticed that, you didn&#8217;t like it at all, did you?</p>
<p>Tamako: Also, the airing of the balance ball. You hold the hand pump with your hand and swish it up and down, and I was filming you doing it (laughs).</p>
<p>Emma: I didn&#8217;t notice that at first (laughs).</p>
<p>Tamako: In high school, I wasn&#8217;t afraid to wear a bathing suit, and I wasn&#8217;t aware that I was doing anything erotic at all. When the photographer asked me to lick candy, I just licked it off without thinking. I just thought, &#8220;Girls who lick candy look cute.</p>
<p>Emma: They told me to &#8220;make noise.</p>
<p>Tamako: And then there was the tickling and massaging.</p>
<p>Emma: After I realized that this was a stunt to make me look erotic, I tried to react in a way that was the complete opposite of what the cameraman wanted. I would give them a pout or something like that.</p>
<p>Tamako: When you saw the finished photos, didn&#8217;t you think, &#8220;Oh, I&#8217;m not cute enough? (laugh).</p>

<p>(Laughs.) &#8220;I tend to lose my mammary glands,&#8221; which is also a common trait of gladleurs.</p>
<p>Emma: I was forced to run a lot on the beach. They want to take pictures of my boobs bouncing. They make me run on the beach, run along the river, and jump on the bed. &#8230;&#8230; That&#8217;s right, my mammary glands get cut off. Many of them run in string swimsuits that don&#8217;t have bras with cups, so their tits are cut to shreds and droop.</p>

<p>Tamako: The talent-friendly agencies were very strict about not allowing the cameraman to use the camera. Colorful ice cream was OK, but white ice cream was not. Chupa Chups&#8221; was OK, but bananas were not allowed. White swimsuits under sailor uniforms are not allowed.</p>
<p>Emma: When I look back at my DVDs, I don&#8217;t see my face in them at all. When I was a teenager, I thought it was okay to smile, but I was told, &#8220;You can&#8217;t smile in this scene.&#8221; At the time, I felt like I needed to learn how to use facial expressions, but I just wanted to eroticize it. &#8230;&#8230; was nothing. I realized that I was just a wanker.</p>
<p>Tamako: That&#8217;s very understandable.</p>
<p>Emma: Risa Yoshiki&#8217;s DVDs were critically acclaimed partly because she responds so well to them.</p>
