Among them, there is one creature that boasts overwhelming popularity among enthusiasts. It is the leopard geckos. It is nicknamed &#8220;Leopa&#8221; by enthusiasts. Junichi Inaki, who runs a pet store in Tokyo and is involved in domestic breeding of leopards, says, &#8220;Leopards are nocturnal.
 Leopas are nocturnal and live in the deserts of Afghanistan and Pakistan. Although its name contains the word &#8220;lizard,&#8221; it is a member of the gecko family. The size of an adult is about 20-25 cm. Its body is fluffy like a marshmallow. They have a part of their tail where they store nutrients, and it is plump and cute (laughs).

Leopas have an established domestic breeding method, and many CB individuals (bred in captivity) are distributed. They are easy to keep even for beginners.
They are not accustomed to people, but they are fairly easy to keep. As long as you have a cage, a shelter to hide in, a heater, and a water container, you can start keeping them right away. As long as you keep an eye on the temperature and humidity, you should be fine. Adults only need to be fed once every two to three days. Crickets and artificial food are recommended.
Leopas come in more than 100 different morphs (body colors and patterns), giving each individual a completely different impression.
There are many different colors of leopas at the show,&#8221; says Inaki. There are more than 100 varieties of morphs, and the number is still increasing,&#8221; says Inaki.

Leopas are called &#8220;laughing reptiles. Its abundance of emotional expression is the reason why it continues to attract enthusiasts. Haruharu Kabocha, who keeps Leopas at home, says, &#8220;They are usually sleeping.
 Usually, she is sleeping and looks so flat, but when it is time to feed her, she looks at me with a sparkling smile, which is adorable. When I put them in my hands, some of them will put their bellies in my palms to try to warm them up. It&#8217;s interesting that some of them sleep at night even though they are nocturnal (laughs).&#8221;
