Secretary General Mogi is Seen Leaving a Massage Parlor During Daytime
What is the place where the leader of the party's second largest faction went all the way in the rain? ......
It was just before 5 p.m. on April 26 when a small man in a suit came out of a certain store in downtown Akasaka, Tokyo. It was raining in Tokyo that day, and the strong man who was standing in front of the store and waiting for him immediately held out an umbrella.
The woman working at the store politely sends him off, bowing her head repeatedly, making it clear that this small man is an important customer of the store. The man gets into the black sedan that picks him up and drives away.
The man is Toshimitsu Mogi, 66, Secretary-General of the Liberal Democratic Party.
Mogi became LDP Secretary-General in November of last year. In the same month, he also became chairman of the Heisei Kenkyukai and launched the Mogi Faction. The Mogi Faction has overtaken the Aso Faction, which had some members leave the party, and is now the second-largest faction in the party.
“This is a massage parlor called Bear Hug. A little before 4:00 p.m., a therapist was scurrying around in front of the store. I wondered what he was doing, and as I watched, a black sedan pulled up in front of the store. It was Mr. Mogi who got out of the car and went into the store,” said a passerby.
Mr. Mogi stayed at the store for about an hour. He must have felt very relaxed because he came out of the store with a very soft expression on his face.
Bear Hug has 12 stores in Tokyo alone, and many celebrities are patrons. From the way the employees at the store treated Mr. Mogi, it seems that he is a regular customer. However, the store is in the general price range of 7,700 yen for a 60-minute course of full-body massage, which seems a bit surprising for a store frequented by the LDP secretary-general. A reporter for a national newspaper said.
The founder of Bear Hug has known Mogi for more than 10 years. In 2012, Bare Hug donated 1 million yen to Mogi’s political party branch, and in 2006, Akahata reported that Mogi, with the support of these donations, moved to have the relaxation industry recognized as a new industry when he was a minister in charge of economic revitalization. The employees at the shop were bowing deeply.

The founder’s connections are extensive, and he has many acquaintances in the political and business world. The reporter continues, In February of this year, he was invited to a medical venture company, Motegi in Tokyo.
He was a close friend of Yoshiya Yajima of Taiki Soken, which was raided by the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office in February of this year in connection with a case involving the medical venture Terra. He was also a close friend of Mr. Kenji Takimoto, who was an advisor to Senegenics Japan, a company that had a business tie-up with Terra and whose former executives were arrested in February of this year, and it is said that the founder had received loans from Mr. Takimoto.
Incidentally, Mr. Takimoto committed suicide in a toilet in Hibiya Park last June. The founder himself was indicted at home for tax evasion of approximately 43 million yen in corporate taxes in 2005. Since Mr. Mogi is such a disturbing person, we were surprised to learn that he still frequents the restaurant.
We contacted Mogi’s office for an interview but received no response by the deadline.
It is good that he gets a massage to refresh his energy, but he must be a very good friend to go to the store during the daytime on weekdays.
