Celebrate Pregnancy! Russian Fairy Sharapova: “My Next Goal in Becoming a Mother”
Maria Sharapova, 35, the “Russian Fairy,” is bursting with joy.
[Claire] It’s going to be great! Eating birthday cake for two has always been my thing.
On April 20, Sharapova posted a photo of herself in a swimsuit on the beach on her Instagram with a joyful comment. She is smiling for the camera with her hands on her growing belly. She is pregnant with her long-awaited first child.
This is the most exciting news!
Maria, be the best mommy you can be!
I wish you all the best with your family.
After the Instagram was updated, Sharapova received messages of congratulations from all over the world.
Sharapova’s partner’s brilliant connections
Sharapova got married in December 2008. Sharapova married a British businessman, Alexander Gilkes. Mr. Gilkes is more than just a wealthy man. He has deep ties to the British Royal Family.
He is a graduate of Eton College, the most prestigious school in England, and is a friend of Prince William and Prince Henry, who graduated from Eton College. Princess Eugenie worked at Paddle8, an online auction house she co-founded in 2011, which recorded sales of more than 14.3 billion yen.
Mr. Gilkes co-founded a company called Squared Circles. Sharapova’s name is also on the board of advisors. Sharapova herself has long been known as an astute businessperson.
In 2012, she founded a sweets brand called “Sugapova,” which has annual sales of more than 2.1 billion yen. Annual sales exceeded 2.1 billion yen.
After the birth of her child, she will probably concentrate on raising her child for a while. I think she will eventually embark on a new business, making use of her partner’s connections to the British royal family. I hope her unborn child will be a good successor to Sharapova.
Sharapova is a tennis legend. From now on, she will carry on the legend as a mother.
