<p>A large shopping center in Koshigaya (Saitama Prefecture) is bustling with people on holidays, and on a morning in early March, many extras were gathered near the center. When a small-faced woman wearing a down coat entered the scene, the atmosphere was instantly festive. She is Meru Nukumi, 20, a model known by the nickname &#8220;Meru.</p>

<p><strong> Meruru is an exclusive model for &#8220;CanCam&#8221; and is also very popular on information programs because of her natural character. She is also working on her acting career, and will be putting more effort into acting as she turns 20 in March,&#8221; said a person involved in the movie industry.</strong></p>

<p>The scene being filmed that day was Meruru in school uniform dashing down the sidewalk in the movie &#8220;Moekare is Orange,&#8221; in which she is the heroine. Due to the strong wind, her long hair covered her face and she had to start over several times. During the standby, the staff surrounded her in a circle to guard her from the wind. Undeterred by the strong winds, just before the performance, she jumped up and down on the spot to keep her spirits up. This scene is sure to be a highlight of her good fight.</p>

 One day in March, we caught a glimpse of Airu Ikumi, aka "Meruru," in Koshigaya, Saitama. She is now a sought-after model for TV programs and modeling, but on this day she was on location for a drama. She is extremely busy, but we expect her to blossom as an actress in the future!
