Ukrainian Judo Bronze Bilodid Sends “Heartbreaking Message to Japan
While the war of aggression by Russia against Ukraine intensified, Dalia Bilodyd (Ukraine), known as the too-beautiful judoka and bronze medalist in the women’s 48 kg judo category at the Tokyo Olympics, published a message to her Japanese fans.
Bilodyd uploaded an image on her Instagram account with a message in white letters on a black background.
‘Dear Japanese followers. This man is a friend I trust. He worked for Mitsubishi Motors for 20 years. Now he runs a charity company that helps refugees with shelter and food. Please see the following page for a video taken in a bomb shelter in my beloved Kiev. Please donate as much as you can.”

Bilodyd is an ambassador for Mitsubishi Motors’ sales company in Ukraine. Not only that, she has many Japanese fans because of her good looks and high skill as a judoka. In this context, Bilodid made a request to his Japanese fans.
