<p> It was just past 9:00 a.m. on September 20, when torrential rain was falling due to an approaching typhoon. Amid a crowd of waiting reporters, a police van emerged from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s Wangan Precinct.The faint silhouette visible in the back seat was Shuto Inomata (25) of “timelesz.” Seen through the wire mesh, his masked face was bowed—a sight that made him look like a completely different person from the one who usually basks in the spotlight on the glamorous stage.</p>
<p> The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department arrested Inomata on September 19 on suspicion of assaulting a female acquaintance (26).</p>

<p><span class="strongInContent"> “He is suspected of causing injuries by repeatedly striking the woman’s face with his hand while she was a passenger in a car parked in the parking lot of a convenience store in Tatsumi, Koto Ward, Tokyo, around 10:30 p.m. on September 18. It is reported that only Inomata and the woman were inside the car at the time.</span></p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> The woman was bleeding from her nose. After the assault, she got out of the car, ran into the convenience store, and asked for help, saying, ‘My boyfriend hit me.’ The incident came to light when a customer who was present called 110, reporting, ‘The woman is bleeding. She’s asking us to call the police.’</span></p>
