<p> A handsome guy walking through the streets with a bulging 7-Eleven shopping bag hanging from his muscular arms—I spotted Raul (23) of “Snow Man” in late August, when the heat was still lingering.</p>
<p> The bag was stuffed with a large quantity of jelly drinks, such as “in-Jelly.” He pulled one out, puckered his lips, and began slurping it while walking.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> “Raul is very disciplined when it comes to maintaining his physique, but he’s also famous for having picky eating habits. Jelly drinks, in particular, are a favorite of his; for a while, you could almost guarantee they were in every dressing room,” said a source at his talent agency.</span></p>

<p> In addition to his main career as an idol, he took second place at an international dance competition held in Arizona in late July. For the busy Raul—who is also active as a model, having appeared at Paris Fashion Week—these jelly drinks are probably just the thing.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> “His agency, ‘STARTO ENTERTAINMENT,’ is heavily promoting ‘Snow Man’ as the successor to ‘Arashi,’ which disbanded in May. The nationwide dome tour scheduled from October through January of next year is expected to draw over 800,000 people, breaking the group’s previous record.</span></p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> “Raul has started cooking for himself, so he’s probably relying on jelly drinks less often, but when things get busy, he probably wants to return to that nostalgic taste as a way to save time,” (ibid.)</span></p>
<p> After finishing his “10-second energy boost,” Raul got into the shuttle and sped off to his next destination.</p>
