[Exclusive] He Seduced Her by Saying, “I’m Getting a Divorce from Shuri”… We Confront Maria Hanano About Allegations That Ryoki Miyama “Forced Her to Have a Secret Meeting”

She had been diagnosed with “adjustment disorder.”

“Actually… Hanano was being forced by Miyama to have ‘secret meetings.’Right after rehearsals began in June, Hanano—feeling uneasy about Miyama’s acting skills—suggested they practice one-on-one. This seemed to give Miyama the wrong idea… He gradually began demanding private meetings at hotels and other places, and when she refused, he would lock himself in his dressing room or skip rehearsals.”

This hard-to-believe testimony comes from a source involved in the production of the musical *Crash Landing on You*. “Hanano” is Maria Hanano (33), a former “musume-yaku” (female lead) with the Takarazuka Revue who is now active primarily in theater.“Miyama” refers to Ryoji Miyama (27), a former member of “BE:FIRST” who overcame a scandal in which he had his ex-fiancée spend 100 million yen on him and went on to marry Shuri (35).

After swearing to his father-in-law, Yutaka Mizutani (74), and mother-in-law, Ran Ito (71), that he would “never cause trouble again,” and taking on the stage role with the hope that they would “see a reborn me,” “Bunshun Online” reported on the mutual affair between Miyama and his co-star, Hana.While the public was in an uproar over the two’s apparent obsession with their affair, this source states, “What I actually witnessed differs from the content of the reports.”

“When the play opened on July 12, Miyama reportedly began telling Hanano, ‘If you don’t meet with me, I’ll quit the play.’ He even threatened her, saying, ‘If I quit, the performances will be canceled. If that happens, we’ll have to pay a penalty, and you’ll be sued for damages too,’” the source said.Hana became mentally distressed due to Miyama’s repeated demands and was diagnosed with an adjustment disorder on July 20” (ibid.).

Even after reports of the alleged affair surfaced on July 22, Miyama’s “out-of-control behavior” did not stop. According to this source, he pressured Hanano to continue the relationship as follows:

“I’m getting a divorce from Shuri. Yet I haven’t heard anything about you getting a divorce from your husband. What do you intend to do? Answer me right here and now.”

Is it true that Miyama pressured her to continue the relationship by hinting at a divorce from Shuri and withdrawing from the stage play? In mid-August, FRIDAY confronted Hanano as she was leaving work.

—Did Mr. Miyama hint at divorcing Shuri and pressure you to continue the relationship?

“Well… since there’s another person involved, I can’t answer that myself.”

The “emergency landing” for this mutual affair scandal remains unclear.
