〈As a special midsummer feature, FRIDAY looks back at the romantic encounters of major celebrities that it reported during the first half of 2026!

〈Looking back at the report in the Jan. 2, 9 & 16, 2026 issue of “FRIDAY” about Kyoko Hasegawa and an elite entrepreneur seven years her junior〉

Kyoko Hasegawa (48) is celebrating 30 years in show business this year. In recent years, she has appeared in numerous cosmetics events and commercials, earning popularity among women of her generation as a beauty icon.

“FRIDAY” first scooped her romantic encounter in January this year. At an extremely popular Italian restaurant where the average spend per customer exceeds ¥40,000, she was enjoying a meal with a handsome gentleman.

“The man is A-san, a company executive who operates an apparel brand in Tokyo. He is seven years younger than Hasegawa and previously worked for a foreign securities firm before reaching his current position.

In March this year, the two were also reported enjoying an openly affectionate date in a busy area of central Tokyo. Although Hasegawa was wearing sunglasses, she did not appear to be disguising herself. A-san had his arm around Hasegawa’s waist, and they appeared quite intimate.

It seems the two are still dating, with marriage also in their sights,” said an acquaintance of A-san.

Could wedding bells—and a remarriage announcement—be in store for her during this milestone year?

A-san, who left the restaurant a short time after Hasegawa. In recent years, he has frequently appeared in media interviews and attracted attention as a promising young entrepreneur.
