[Full Article] Photos of Shuhei Nomura from “Gas Human” and His New Girlfriend—a “UNIQLO Model 7 Years His Junior”—on a Walk and at a Café!
The popular actor, who made a strong impression in the drama “Gas Human”—which topped the Japanese charts on Netflix—has a new girlfriend who’s even been approved by his dog

Accompanied by a beautiful woman and her dog,
With his left hand holding the leash of his Border Collie, Snoop, and his right hand firmly clasping the beautiful woman’s hand, the handsome man strode through the quiet residential neighborhood—a sight that was bound to turn heads.
On a certain day in July, exuding a strong celebrity aura with his chiseled features—recognizable even while disguised in sunglasses—and his well-toned physique was actor Shuhei Nomura (32). The beautiful woman walking beside him had such a great figure that it was evident even through her oversized Border Collie T-shirt. She, too, was no ordinary person.
What exactly is the relationship between these two, strolling through the streets hand-in-hand with their dog in broad daylight? In fact, this beautiful woman is said to be a well-known figure in the fashion industry among those in the know.
“She’s Yumemi Ishida (26), who has been featured in advertisements for global companies such as Uniqlo, Shiseido, and the JR Group. Her height—170 cm—is her greatest asset, and she’s been active on the global stage, recently receiving offers from South Korea and China as well,” said a stylist.
Nomura took this world-class model into a stylish café. While Nomura went to buy coffee, Ishida waited at a table on the terrace, playfully interacting with Snoop-kun. It seems Nomura isn’t the only one head over heels for her—Snoop-kun wagged his tail with delight when Ishida petted his head!
After taking a breather at the café, they unexpectedly headed into a down-to-earth supermarket. Leaving Snoop-kun waiting outside, they wandered around the store for about 10 minutes before holding hands again and disappearing into a residential neighborhood.
FRIDAY actually spotted what appeared to be Nomura and a beautiful woman—presumably Ishida—enjoying a café date with their dog as early as this past spring. Amid the lingering chill of early spring, the two were relaxing at a café with Snoop. It seems “walking & café dates” are a regular thing for them.
They had a senior-junior relationship
Since the start of this year, Nomura has appeared in numerous high-profile productions. In the drama *Gas Human* (Netflix), which began streaming on July 2 and topped the domestic weekly viewership rankings, he delivered a compelling performance as the young version of a former yakuza with a history tied to the Gas Humans and the protagonist detective. With his shocking appearance—long hair, no eyebrows, and a body completely covered in tattoos—he exuded a powerful presence. In the July drama series *My Fiction* (TV Asahi), he tackled the challenging role of a former murderer stalking the protagonist, steadily earning higher acclaim.
Although the two are active in different fields—acting and modeling—they share an unexpected commonality.
“Ishida actually made his debut through Nomura’s agency, ‘Amuse.’ At the time, they were in a senior-junior relationship, but Ishida transferred to another agency two years ago to focus on modeling. On the other hand, Nomura has been linked to popular models in the past—he was photographed by *Friday* with Kiko Mizuhara (35), and his relationship with Ryuka (28) was reported. Ishida, who boasts a figure every bit as stunning as those two, must have been Nomura’s type.“You can tell how long they’ve been dating by how attached their dog, Natsu, is to them,” (ibid.)
So, are the two actually dating? When approached by *FRIDAY*, *Amuse* responded, “They are in a good relationship.” Ishida’s agency also acknowledged the relationship, stating, “They are in a good relationship. We leave their private lives up to them, so we would appreciate it if you could watch over them warmly.”
Since even their beloved dog, Snoop, has given his blessing to the relationship, one can’t help but hope for a “woof-tastic” future ahead.
