Wrapped in a pure white dress that fits her perfectly and reveals her figure, actress Minami Hamabe (25) walks the runway like a fashion model.

The awards ceremony for the “37th Japan Jewelry Best Dresser Awards” was held recently, and stunning photos of the winners have been published on Friday Digital.

Hamabe won in the 20s category. She had previously won in the teens category at age 18, making this her second time receiving the award.

“Hamabe was wearing pieces from the ‘Parfait!’ collection by the jewelry brand ‘NADIA’; the sapphire necklace was priced at approximately 13.2 million yen.The earrings, adorned with diamonds, pearls, and sapphires, were priced at approximately 2.53 million yen. By elegantly styling a simple dress, she made the jewelry stand out even more,” said a writer for a women’s fashion magazine.

Hamabe’s expression as she walked the runway seemed slightly nervous.

When the host began introducing the jewelry she was wearing, a photographer from the press corps moved right up to Hamabe’s eyes and nose and started taking extreme close-ups. Perhaps amused by how close the camera was, Hamabe broke into a smile. It seemed her nerves had finally eased. When asked for a comment, Hamabe said,

“Before the awards ceremony, I was told, ‘It’s expensive, but don’t be nervous—just enjoy the walk.’ But when I was actually allowed to wear a one-of-a-kind piece of high jewelry like this, I realized I really was nervous, and my heart is still pounding,”

she said with a wry smile.

“I want to live my life moving forward with this jewelry, in a way that does this award justice,”

She concluded with a smile.

The winner in the 30s category was actress Atsuko Maeda (35). Wearing a black strapless dress, she wore her black hair up to let the jewelry shine. On her beautiful décolletage, a necklace set with white and yellow diamonds—valued at approximately 6 million yen—sparkled.

Maeda had also won in the Teen category in 2011, when she was 19, making this her first win in 15 years . Looking back, Maeda said, “Back then, I was still thinking, ‘I hope I can own some beautiful jewelry someday.’ I suppose that was a time when I was just daydreaming about that,” and continued:

“I’ll be turning 35 soon (she was 34 on the day of the awards ceremony). Since I still want to continue this career, I hope to remain the kind of woman who will still be invited to events in my 40s and 50s, so I plan to keep working hard alongside jewelry from now on.”

Actress Marika Matsumoto (41) won the award for the 40s category, and actress Saki Takaoka (53) won for the 50s category. Both radiated a brilliance that rivaled the ultra-expensive jewelry they wore, captivating the audience right up until the very end.
