Yet &#8220;FRIDAY&#8221; reports on what it describes as a secret date between these two geniuses.
In late May, the two were seen leaving Blue Note Tokyo in Aoyama, Minato Ward, Tokyo. Sheena wore a white long-sleeved T-shirt with overalls from an ultra-luxury brand, projecting what the article describes as an overwhelming presence.
Narita, meanwhile, was not wearing his usual trademark glasses with one round and one square lens. Instead, he had on an ordinary pair of black-framed glasses. Perhaps wary of attracting attention, the two kept a certain distance from each other while enjoying their evening of live music.
Later, after the scene shifted to Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture, this magazine&#8217;s reporter says they witnessed what they describe as an extraordinarily peculiar display of behavior from Narita—perhaps, they suggest, because he&#8217;s a genius.

The date was May 28, the final stop of Sheena&#8217;s nationwide concert tour in Takasaki.
Immediately after the concert ended, Narita left the backstage area ahead of Sheena and walked alone to a nearby convenience store.
Once inside, he headed straight for the whisky section. Standing in front of the shelves with his arms folded, he reportedly spent an unusually long time contemplating his options with a serious expression.
After what the article jokingly compares to someone pondering national economic policy, he finally walked away from the whisky aisle and instead purchased a canned chu-hi (a Japanese alcoholic drink) and a chocolate bar at the register.
But according to the reporter, what happened next was even more surprising.
&#8220;Narita suddenly opened the can of chu-hi inside the store and took a drink. While eating the chocolate, he walked back to the whisky section and resumed pondering the bottles.
Local junior high school students noticed the unusual sight and started shouting, &#8216;It&#8217;s Narita! It&#8217;s Narita!'&#8221;
The excited students watched him closely.
Narita, however, appeared completely absorbed in his own thoughts and seemed oblivious to the attention. As he continued sipping his chu-hi, munching on chocolate, and studying the whisky selection, the surreal scene became too much for the students, who burst into laughter.
According to the article, he remained inside the convenience store for 20 to 30 minutes.
In the end, he bought a bottle of whisky, additional canned sour drinks, sparkling water, and two cups of convenience-store coffee before leaving.
He then headed toward the hotel where Sheena was staying.
&#8220;When Narita reached the front of the hotel, he suddenly stopped and stood there on the street for quite a while. It looked as though he was waiting for the right time or perhaps waiting for someone to contact him.
It didn&#8217;t seem like he had a room key, and we didn&#8217;t see him go through the check-in process,&#8221; the reporter who witnessed the scene said.
During that time, Sheena had already arrived at the hotel.
A short while later, Narita also entered the building.
