Ariyoshi&#8217;s trusted personalities and good friends frequently appear on &#8220;Shonen Sanpo,&#8221; and Sakashita is one of these &#8220;regulars.

 &#8216;Is it the power of location?　I think my roots are in the location skills I developed as a bran girl (female reporter) for &#8220;King&#8217;s Branch. I received particularly strict instruction in food reporting (laughs). I was told, &#8220;Your comment is wrong! I remember being told, &#8220;Your comment is wrong,&#8221; and being forced to drink dozens of cups of tea.
 Nowadays, I think they are looking for people who can work immediately, but at the time I joined &#8220;King&#8217;s Brunch,&#8221; all the directors were eager to nurture and develop newcomers who were just amateurs.
 So, before the show, while the technicians were filming things in the back, I was made to practice drinking lots of tea and giving my impressions. I had already had dozens of drinks behind the scenes, so I couldn&#8217;t act like it was my first time (laughs).
The episode is like the Shimura Ken/Kato Tea &#8220;healthy milk&#8221; comedy.

 I think it&#8217;s about reading the flow and atmosphere around you. If I sense that the performer I am working with is not interested in the topic at hand, I don&#8217;t dig any deeper. Ariyoshi-san is very perceptive of this, and even when we are on location together, I can tell immediately when he is not interested (laughs).
Incidentally, among the many bran girls, the director had to designate who would go on which location. Who were the &#8220;foster parents&#8221; on location?
 The director, Tomoka Sato, who still does the &#8220;Shopping Expert&#8221; segment (which became a regular feature in October 2008).
 Emi Hashino&#8217;s &#8220;JoOusama&#8217;s Shopping&#8221; corner was started by Tomoka Sato, and at that time, for the first time, one of the Blancmusume members asked me to work with her because she wanted to create a corner that would be crowned by Blancmusume.
 I was very happy to have a corner from Blancmusume, and I also heard that if it didn&#8217;t work out, they would end it in a single season, so I remember working very hard on it.
Another person to mention is Wataru Hiraga, who was in charge of the trend section called &#8220;boom up.
 Mr. Hiraga taught me everything I needed to know about location work, such as how to take care of the technical staff.
 When Mr. Hiraga was making his debut as a director, he took me and another Bran girl on a Disneyland location shoot. He told us, &#8220;You guys have to convey a fun atmosphere to the viewers,&#8221; and &#8220;If you don&#8217;t have fun, the message won&#8217;t get through.&#8221; I was young, so I forgot about work and really enjoyed myself.
 When I went to the site on Saturday morning, they were doing the final V-check the day before putting the show on live TV. The producer said, &#8220;You guys were so excited, report properly! I was so angry with him. I said, &#8216;I&#8217;m also doing a report,&#8217; but he said, &#8216;That&#8217;s just playing around.
 But that week, the only part of our Disneyland VTR that got a huge boost in numbers, so the producer changed his tune and said, &#8216;Well, that was a great VTV&#8217; (laughs).
He also speaks of his impression of Hashinoemi, with whom he often tag-teamed on the show.
 &#8220; Emi-chan and I are completely different types. Emi-chan was an actress in the Kin-chan troupe, so she was good at comedy anyway. On the contrary, she said she hated anything without a script, so I saw her as an &#8220;actress&#8221; at the time.
 However, when &#8220;King&#8217;s Brunch&#8221; celebrated its 10th anniversary, I had the opportunity to do a segment with Emi-chan, and she was very easy to work with. I don&#8217;t know how Emi-chan felt about it, but I felt a sense of nostalgia, as if I were meeting my old partner.

When her children were in nursery school, she had to work until &#8220;pick-up time&#8221; as her standard, so she refused to work on local programs that required overnight stays.  Since I started raising my children, I have appeared on Akira Ikegami&#8217;s programs and information programs, and I have come to really like news and information programs that I can learn from, so I would like to do such programs again.
 I would also like to visit programs like &#8220;Honest Sanpo. However, I don&#8217;t think Ariyoshi-san would like it if I appeared on every show (laughs). Anyway, the best thing for me is to continue working at my own pace.
