Suspect Toshihiko Kichii was sent to prosecutors on June 1.

Father killed his son for his own convenience.

The suspect’s home, which was the scene of the crime, is a 10-minute drive from the Narita Police Station. The bicycle he used to take his son to and from elementary school was left in front of the front door.

On May 31, a father, Toshihiko Yoshii, 66, was arrested for strangling his 11-year-old son to death at home.

On May 29, the principal of Daisho’s elementary school called the police to report that Daisho had not been coming to school. When police officers arrived at the home, they found the two children lying on the futon. The suspect, Yoshii, was dazed and Daishyo-kun had already passed out. It is said that several days had passed since his death.

Daishyo-kun had a mild disability and attended a special-needs class.

Neighbors had seen the suspect riding his bicycle to and from Daishyo-kun. According to investigators, he moved to this apartment one or two years ago. His mother died about 10 years ago. The suspect Kichii said, ‘I had no money and was pessimistic about my future. I couldn’t leave my son alone.

The suspect may have been attempting a forced suicide, but crime journalist Taihei Ogawa raged, “Did he really think it all through?” He is indignant.

There is a story that he was not on welfare. If they had consulted the authorities, they would have offered some kind of support. If the police had been consulted, they would have listened, and if they thought that Daisho would be in danger if left unattended, they would have called the Child Guidance Center and taken Daisho into custody.

There is no connection between “pessimism about his son’s future” and “murdering him. This is a murder case where the father killed his son for his own selfish reasons, and there are no extenuating circumstances at all.”

The details of this sad case will be revealed in the coming investigation.

He got into the convoy without looking at the press.
He was said to be unemployed, but his body looked strong.
