Like a goddess

A woman walked across the racecourse before a packed crowd at the racetrack, beaming with a radiant smile—actress Kana Kurashina (38).

On May 24, the 87th Oaks was held at Tokyo Racecourse in Fuchu City, drawing approximately 100,000 spectators.

“This year’s Oaks made history as jockey Seina Imamura (22) became the first female JRA jockey to both compete in and win a Classic race. After the race, Kurashina appeared as the presenter at the awards ceremony wearing a glamorous gown. She looked genuinely thrilled, almost as if the victory were her own, and smiled throughout the ceremony,” said a sports newspaper reporter.

As the crowd erupted in cheers of “Ooh!” Kurashina appeared in a sheer brown chiffon dress. The gown featured a deeply plunging V-neckline as well as an open-back design extending to her lower back, elegantly highlighting her décolletage and fair complexion. Already known for her graceful figure, her striking appearance earned enthusiastic applause and cheers from the audience.

During the awards ceremony, after presenting Imamura with her medal, Kurashina noticed the visibly nervous jockey standing beside her and spoke to her warmly and casually, almost like a friend, displaying thoughtful kindness.

When leaving the track after the ceremony, she continued to charm the crowd by calling out over the fence, “Did your betting ticket win?” Her cheerful and approachable demeanor remained unchanged until the very end.

Later, during a talk show held in the paddock, she showed the betting tickets she had personally purchased and admitted that although she had bought many, none had been winners.

“I had so much fun. It was incredibly moving! The excitement of the race and the roar of the crowd coming together made me feel honored to be here.”

Still visibly excited, she concluded by enthusiastically calling out:

“Let’s all keep supporting horse racing!”

On May 30, Kurashina updated her social media, posting videos including one in which she appeared alongside four white horses that had participated in the ceremony. The comments section was flooded with praise for her beauty, including remarks such as “She’s like a goddess” and “Even the horses are amazed by how beautiful she is.”

Fans are likely still captivated by the series of fan-friendly moments from Kurashina, whose warm personality and willingness to engage with the crowd belied her status as a major actress.
