He is suspected of kissing the woman in the passageway and biting her lower lip, causing her to suffer an injury. The woman called 110, and an investigation of security cameras near the apartment building led to the surfacing of the suspect.</span></p>

<p> On May 14, around 8:00 a.m., the suspect was sent to the public prosecutor&#8217;s office. He wears glasses and has a quiet appearance. His detailed occupation is not known, but the police report that he is a company employee does not seem out of place at all. If he were wearing a suit, he would have the air of an ordinary office worker who could be found anywhere.</p>

The incident took place on a night last December in Tokyo&#8217;s Nerima Ward, when the 31-year-old suspect followed a woman in her 20s who was walking alone on the street on her way home, hugged her from behind, and committed the crime. In the process, the woman fell down and was injured. The man ran away from the scene and fled, but a security camera investigation led to the suspect&#8217;s arrest. <p><span class="strongInContent"> &#8220;About a week after the incident, we learned that the female victim had been followed by the suspect. It is not known why the suspect reappeared in front of the victim after she had managed to escape.</span></p>
