<h3> He makes people on the street bleed and hurt.</h3>
<p> The Netflix drama &#8220;Kujo no Daishin&#8221; starring Yuya Yagira (36) has been on a roll, consistently topping the &#8220;Top 10 Series of the Day&#8221; since its release on April 2, and the various opinions on the pros and cons of its content on social networking sites indicate that quite a few people are watching this work. The film was released in 1985, and was the first film to be released in the U.S.</p>
<p> Speaking of Yagira, he won the Best Actor Award at the Cannes International Film Festival for &#8220;Nobody Knows&#8221; (&#8217;04), in which he made his first appearance at the age of 14. He was also the first Japanese actor and the youngest actor ever to win this award, a career that is so glorious that it almost crushed him. He may have suffered under the pressure of this award at times, but he has rebounded brilliantly to achieve great success in his career. His works have been a hit everywhere, including movies, television, and distribution. He has become a top actor in his own right.</p>

<p> Because of this, Yagira has been in demand for a wide variety of productions. What is interesting, however, is that many of the films in which he appears are strangely violent. Not only does he appear in such films, but he himself plays violent and insane characters, and this has been very well received by the audience.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> After &#8220;Nobody Knows,&#8221; Mr. Yagira struggled to make his presence felt in new films, but it was the film &#8220;Distraction Babies&#8221; (2004), in which he starred, that brought him into the limelight. In a gloomy provincial town, he just hurts people on the street to the point of bloodshed &#8230;&#8230; without showing any emotion. It has almost no dialogue, but it had a tremendous impact.</span></p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> Other works include &#8220;From Today I Am!　The Movie&#8221; (&#8217;20), the &#8220;Gannibal&#8221; series (&#8217;22, &#8217;25/Disney+), and most recently, the movie &#8220;Natsume Arata&#8217;s Marriage&#8221; (&#8217;24). His roles as a young man have also been well received. Of course, he has played many roles as young men, but in the case of Mr. Yagira, it is his &#8220;crazy characters&#8221; that have made the biggest impact.</span></p>

<p><span class="strongInContent"> I have interviewed Mr. Yagira many times. He is quiet, a little shy, and smiling when answering questions. He doesn&#8217;t seem to think of himself as a big shot at all, and it&#8217;s interesting that he always says, &#8220;I want to be popular,&#8221; or &#8220;I want to be popular,&#8221; in an eheheh kind of way. I get the impression that she is a bit of a natural, easygoing person.</span></p>
<p> Another writer described Yagira&#8217;s zero craziness as follows.</p>

<p> However, as we continued our interview, we found a hidden side of Yagira that was more than just that. &#8230;&#8230; A veteran writer who has been covering Yagira since he was a teenager told us the following episode.</p>

<p><span class="strongInContent"> It was when he was in his teens. It was an interview related to a horror film, so I asked him, &#8216;Are you okay with obake (ghosts)?&#8217; I asked him. He looked smug and said, &#8216;I can see them!　He was not saying this to make the place more lively or anything like that, but he was saying it with a sense of pride from the bottom of his heart. I was convinced, in a good way, that people who win awards at Cannes are different from ordinary people, even if they look ordinary at first glance.</span></p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> Perhaps he has just grown up and doesn&#8217;t show that side of himself anymore. I think it is because deep down he has something out of the ordinary in him that attracts people with a performance that only he can give.</span></p>

<p> Takahiko Kageyama, a professor of media creation at Doshisha Women&#8217;s University, has the following to say about Yagira: &#8220;Yagira-san has gone through a lot of hardships since his spectacular debut in &#8216;Nobody Knows&#8217;.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> Mr. Yagira has gone through many hardships since his spectacular debut in &#8220;Nobody Knows,&#8221; and I feel that he has finally entered a period of &#8220;fruition&#8221; in the last few years. Especially after his marriage to Ellie Toyoda, I have the impression that he has been working steadily.</span></p>

<p><span class="strongInContent"> A true madman cannot play madness. It is only when you have a solid base of reason and experience that you can play the role of true madness, and you can also play delicate roles. I believe that Mr. Yagira has more to offer that we have never seen before. It is premature to summarize him at this stage, but he is an actor with a terrifying quality that will continue to evolve in the future.</span></p>
<p> There seems to be no doubt that he has something out of the ordinary deep within him.</p>
