Negative reaction to “Snow Man” Shota Watanabe’s “use of SNS”… Fans are aghast at his too-honest personality.
The injury allegations floated around about Shota Watanabe of “Snow Man”…
In early March, Shota Watanabe (33) of “Snow Man” posted something on Instagram that caused controversy on the Internet. The post was a “reveal” of a message from a fan via the “Question Box” function, which drew negative reactions.
Watanabe stayed in Italy to participate in “Milano Fashion Week” held from February 24 to March 2 (local time).
On March 1, when she solicited questions on her own Instagram, she said, “Think about the feelings of the Japanese fans who came to Milan. I was really disappointed. You could have done more fan service,” while publishing the comment, “Let’s expose them,” he reacted.
“Also, Watanabe responded with a sharpness not typical of idols, such as kicking off the word ‘gross’ with ‘you are,’ and replying to ‘ah-ho’ with ‘shibaku you.
In response to this, there were some serious comments such as, “I think the question was malicious, but this kind of reply is not nice,” and “I realized that idols of Johnny’s (former Johnny’s Office) should not be on social networking sites.
However, Watanabe actually has a “fan-oriented” side, according to the writer. For example, recently, she mentioned an incident that had caused widespread anxiety on social networking services, and she expressed her relief to her fans.
On March 10, a short video was uploaded to Snow Man’s official YouTube channel, and since the area above Watanabe’s lips was slightly darkened, many fans were concerned that he might have been injured.
On the 12th, she updated her blog on the member site “FAMILY CLUB web” and explained that it was a bruise caused by a collision. She said it had already healed and wrote to her concerned fans, “Don’t worry” and “Thank you.
Those who read Watanabe’s blog were,
<Shota-kun is really kind to see that his fans are worried about him and to let them know about it~>.
<You knew that fans were worried about your mouth. I’m glad it’s healed. I’m glad you casually told us about it on your blog.
<Shota-kun, thank you for reassuring me. You really are a kind and warm person.
<Sho-ta-kun, you did a great job explaining and reassuring the fans about the bruise around his mouth, which they were worried about.
I was very impressed by his consideration.
Shota Watanabe’s overly honest personality has fans…
Watanabe has also been known to touch on topics that have been causing a stir on social networking sites, and previously denied allegations of a love affair. He had previously denied the allegations of a relationship with Riho Takada (31), an actress with whom he co-starred in “A Strange Story” (Fuji TV, broadcast on November 12, 2010), because they were wearing hoodies that appeared to be the same.
On November 14, 2010, after the broadcast, Watanabe posted a blog entry in which she revealed that although she tried her hand at acting, which she was not accustomed to doing, she felt “a bit embarrassed” because of the “various speculations” that had been made about her.
She implicitly denied the theory that she and Takada were dating, and her response was met with positive comments such as, “Well said! and positive comments followed. Those who had doubted their love affair and slammed both of them should reflect on their actions (see ……), and the situation calmed down.
As can be seen from the aforementioned question box, for better or worse, Watanabe is probably an honest person. We hope that she will continue to please her fans by speaking her mind through her SNS and blog.
