Hiroki Uchihiro & SUPER EIGHT” had a historic collaboration! Thanks to “Hiroki Inohara” for making it possible!

Historical joint performance!
On March 24, the idols of STARTO ENTERTAINMENT from Kansai held a one-day event at the Osaka Shochikuza Theater. The performance included a look back at past performances, and during the singing of “SUPER EIGHT” (formerly “Kanjani Eight”), former member Hiroki Uchihiroki (39) made a surprise appearance. The historic joint performance came true.
The Shochikuza Theater is scheduled to close in May of this year due to its aging. Since the members from Kansai Junior, including SUPER EIGHT, have been honing their performances there since the days of the old Johnny’s, they were invited to the “Honma Ookini Osaka Shochikuza – WE are Shochikuza Boys. Thank you very much for your long time support. The days when we faced each other in the backstage of the Japanese-style room when I was a member of Sekiju. It was at such a place of youth that we had our SUPER Aぇ! Graduation Ceremony. ~The event titled “SUPER A!
The previously announced performers were SUPER EIGHT, WEST., Naniwa Boys, Ae! group, Ren Nagase (27) from “King & Prince”, Koji Mukai (31) from “Snow Man”, as well as Ryuta Muro (36) and Daichi Imae (30) who are currently active as actors in STARTO. Despite the gathering of so many talents, there was only one performance on March 24, a very rare event, and it was broadcast live on the day of the event on “FAMILY CLUB online,” the official video distribution service of the office.
As the performers sang nostalgic songs, Uchi suddenly descended on stage after being introduced by SUPER EIGHT’s Shingo Murakami (44). He performed a song called “Tabibito” with the five current members of SUPER EIGHT after a 20-year absence. Fans who were watching the live broadcast were very excited about this “emo development” on SNS,” said an entertainment writer.
Uchi had been active in both Kanjani Eight and NEWS before, making his independent debut in November 2003 with “NEWS Nippon,” followed by his major debut in May of the following year with the single “Kibou ~Yell~.
Meanwhile, Kanjani Eight released the single “Naniwa Iroha-bushi” in 2004, but in July of the following year, Uchi was arrested for underage drinking (he was 18 at the time) and had to suspend his entertainment activities.
At the end of 2006, he returned to work as a “trainee,” but left the two groups. In Uchino’s case, it was not a “positive graduation” from the group, since it was triggered by an incident involving underage drinking.
However, this time, after all the twists and turns, each of them stood up at the Shochikuza Theater and collaborated with the current members of SUPER EIGHT. It was a dream come true only because Uchihara is still a member of STARTO. Fans who know the history of the group were moved and excited.
Uchi talks about “the past when he was about to quit the office.
Uchi, who has been working mainly on the stage as an actor in recent years, recently resumed his music career, releasing a new song “Go Your Way” on March 13 and an album “0” on July 8.
In a recent interview with Sankei Sports (March 18), Uchi confided that he had tried to quit the agency in the past.
He said, “Uchi had held several concerts after turning solo, but he had not been able to release any music, and he was feeling discouraged. About four years ago, when “20th Century” Inohara Yoshihiko (49), then president of a company training junior members, asked him to appear on stage with his junior colleagues, he declared, ‘I’m quitting the office.
However, Inohara stopped him, saying, “Wait a minute,” and Uchi reconsidered, saying, “I’m going to give it one more shot.
In fact, Uchi did not leave the office and appeared as a guest in two TV dramas last year, including a regular role as a detective in the drama series “Kimi ga shiken ni narimasu mae” (Before You Get the Death Penalty) (NTV), which began on April 2. While on track in this way, he collaborated with the members of SUPER EIGHT. Based on the aforementioned interview with Uchi, fans said,
If Inochi hadn’t stopped Uchi from leaving, I don’t think I would have been able to see Eight and Uchi sing at Shochikuza ever again. I have nothing but gratitude to Inochi.
Thank you, Uchi, for working so hard and staying with us. And Inochi, thank you so much for keeping me here.
[Claire] If you hadn’t stopped him from leaving at that time, I don’t think there would have been a 5+1. I am filled with gratitude to you, Inohara-kun.
In addition, Uchi was a former colleague of Inohara’s.
In addition, Uchi has recently been performing with the current members of NEWS, with whom he used to work together. In the October season of last year’s “Shin Tokyo Suijo Keisatsu” (Fuji TV), he co-starred in a drama with Shigeaki Kato (38) for the first time. And he recently appeared in “NEWS Koyama no Oshacan,” a program featuring Keiichiro Koyama (41) that was broadcast on March 22! How’s it going? (Fuji) on March 22 as a guest.
NEWS will celebrate its 25th anniversary in two years, and during the location Uchi said to Koyama, “Let’s do something,” “If that happens, I’ll do my best. Fans on SNS are hoping to see Takahisa Masuda (39) in public as well.
Next time, we may see Uchis intertwine with the three members of NEWS on stage.
