<h2>“After all we’re family, essentially.”</h2>
<p>According to Josei Jishin on April 1, Uchida had secretly remarried around January this year, when she transferred to an agency represented by Kashiwabara, who has long served as her manager.</p>
<p>Following this, on April 2, multiple sports newspapers reported on their marriage. However, Sanspo cited sources saying that they submitted their marriage registration in March. It remains unclear which information is accurate, but in any case, it is undoubtedly happy news.</p>
<p>Looking back on their history together:</p>
<p>The two first met in 1995 during a commercial shoot for Lotte.</p>
<p><strong>“According to people involved at the time, Uchida had feelings for Kashiwabara, but they did not begin dating then. They reunited in 2001 in the drama Big Wing (TBS) and became friends. The following year, Uchida married Hidetaka Yoshioka, but they divorced three years later. She began dating Kashiwabara in 2009, and their close relationship has been reported many times in the media.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Kashiwabara left the entertainment industry after his appearance in the 2014 film Shiawase no Plan, and in 2020, Josei Jishin reported that he had devoted himself to managing Uchida. When Uchida appeared on A-STUDIO+ (TBS) in October 2022, although she did not mention his name, she acknowledged that he was her manager and said, ‘After all, the one who knows your core—your true essence—is your partner. We’re family, essentially,’”</strong> said a sports newspaper reporter.</p>

<h2>Kashiwabara’s godlike response to fans</h2>
<p>On this day, Yuki Uchida appeared live as a guest on a Nippon Broadcasting radio program. Outside the building, several of her fans were waiting with autograph boards in hand. After the program ended, Uchida came out of the building surrounded by multiple staff members, and the fans quickly approached her. At that moment, a male staff member immediately went up to the fans and took their autograph boards. That man was none other than Takashi Kashiwabara.</p>
<p>After receiving the boards, Kashiwabara moved to a spot out of the fans’ view. A short while later, he returned to them holding the signed boards, handing them back with a smile. Meanwhile, Uchida reappeared, waved to the fans, and got into the car that had come to pick her up. Just as Uchida herself described him as family, their coordination was like that of a perfectly in-sync couple. And Uchida’s godlike fan service didn’t end there.</p>
<p>As the car, driven by Kashiwabara, began to move, the rear window rolled down and Uchida leaned out, waving to her fans. The fans were so moved that they cheered loudly.</p>
