After the man checked out of the hotel, an employee who was cleaning the room found something suspicious. It was a white crystal that looked like an illegal drug. The police received a report and immediately started an investigation.
On February 24, the Aichi Prefectural Police arrested former &#8220;KAT-TUN&#8221; member, Kouki Tanaka (36), on suspicion of violating the Methamphetamine Control Act. He was allegedly found in possession of approximately 0.164 grams of methamphetamine at a business hotel in Nagoya City at around 5:30 p.m. on January 30 this year. Tanaka denied that he knew anything about it.

 The suspect was performing at a live house in Nagoya City in the morning and afternoon on the same day. The time frame of the alleged possession of methamphetamine is between the morning and afternoon sessions. He was also scheduled to perform on the day of his arrest, but his performance was hastily cancelled due to &#8216;poor health&#8217; (entertainment production staff).
This is not the first time Tanaka has been caught with illegal drugs; in May 2005, he was arrested by the Metropolitan Police Department on suspicion of violating the Marijuana Control Act (the case was dropped in June of the same year due to insufficient suspicion).

Tanaka&#8217;s contract with Johnny&#8217;s Office was terminated in September 2001. In the same year, he opened a members-only bar in Nishi-Azabu, Tokyo, without permission from the office. In the June 16, 2005 issue of &#8220;FRIDAY,&#8221; there was testimony from a person involved that drugs were being used in the bar. I would like to quote it below.
 A man who looked like a drug dealer came into the store and handed something to Tanaka. I asked him, &#8220;What&#8217;s that? I asked him, and he said, &#8216;It&#8217;s shabu. He always had a small 2cm cone-shaped capsule filled with a white powder that seemed to be methamphetamine. There were times when it was obvious that he was crazy.
 There was even a time when he went berserk in the store, with his upper body naked and wielding a knife. He would point the knife at a customer and say, &#8220;You!　I&#8217;ll kill you! and shouted strangely. Violent behavior and breaking things were commonplace.
In addition, &#8220;FRIDAY&#8221; at the time obtained a LINE exchange in which he is believed to have asked an acquaintance to purchase drugs (see the second and third related images). She is said to have used the cryptic words &#8220;vegetable&#8221; for marijuana and &#8220;bicycle&#8221; for cocaine.
Tanaka&#8217;s debut song &#8220;Real Face&#8221; became a million seller in 2006, and he also starred in the drama &#8220;Express Tanaka 3&#8221; (2007, TBS). He has been losing the trust of the entertainment industry and his fans with his out-of-the-ordinary behavior.
