The spin-off depicted Yone’s backstory and the founding of the firm, which were not shown in the morning drama. Yone’s character is strongly driven by anger toward society, and the spin-off focused on that ‘anger’ throughout, resulting in a rather heavy tone. Doi, who plays Yone, had a consistently gentle expression on the day of filming. Before shooting, she wore a down coat over her suit and chatted with staff, frequently breaking into smiles. Unlike Yone, who constantly carries anger in the drama, Doi’s natural demeanor exuded warmth. However, just before filming, as her concentration heightened, her smile disappeared and her expression turned stern. The atmosphere around her also became tense.

In fact, just one week before this shoot, Doi was reported by Smart FLASH to be in a relationship with actor Ryoma Takeuchi (32). According to the report, Doi had been visiting Takeuchi’s apartment in Tokyo almost daily. Both of their agencies commented, “We leave private matters to the individuals.” The two co-starred in the Netflix film 10DANCE, released in December last year.
