15 Year Old Skate Genius Valieva’s Message in Japanese — Welcomed by Fans!
Kamila Valieva, the Russian figure skater who caused the doping scandal, updated her Instagram account and expressed her “gratitude” during the doping scandal, which has become a hot topic.
Born on April 26, 2006 in Kazan, Russia, Valieva won the Junior Grand Prix Final in 2019, and the World Junior Figure Skating Championships in 2020, before entering the senior ranks in the 2021/2022 season. He immediately won the Skate Canada and Russia Cups in succession, both with the world’s highest scores.
She is considered a top candidate for the gold medal at the Beijing Olympics, and immediately led the ROC (Russian Olympic Committee) to victory in the team competition. Valieva took first place in the women’s free and short programs with flying colors. But …….
She was found to have banned substances in her samples. Later, the Court of Arbitration for Sport granted her entry to the competition, taking into account her age of 15. However, she finished fourth in the individual competition.
You can’t violate the rules. But to what extent was the 15-year-old girl responsible? There must have been many people who were bewildered by this issue.
In the midst of all this, Valieva made her first comment after the uproar.
I want to thank everyone who has been there for me during this difficult time, who has forgiven me, who has sent me messages of support, who has just thought of me, who has prayed for me, who has believed in me, who has followed me. To my fans, my family and friends, my coaches, my ROC team, my country, and the world, thank you.
I’ll be forever grateful! I’ll always remember this, and I’ll never forget how grateful I am, and I’ll keep skating.”
He also wrote a message in Japanese, “Thank you”.
Valieva continued to be grateful. I hope she will use this experience to grow even more!
