<p> The history of cheerleading in professional baseball is said to have originated in South Korea, where the Lotte Giants, then a baseball team for working adults, formed the Lotte Angels cheerleading squad in 1975. Since then, the cheers of Korean professional baseball have mainly consisted of cheerleaders dancing on the benches, and the cheering culture has taken root in the infield, which is very different from that in Japan.</p>
